We are so excited to be in our new facility! We are on the first floor of the Lorena Chambless Building, which is part of First Baptist Church in Cleburne, and have almost doubled our space! We recently held a community open house to let people visit and learn more about our program.
Our new entrance faces the First Baptist Church circle drive. The entrance to the drive is on Anglin.

Computer Training
at CWJC
Word, Excel, Power Point! Our ladies are hard at work each day adding to their computer skills. They all complete a resume, a power point, a budget in excel, type a speech, and apply for a job on line. Many are also able to complete special individual projects. Our teaching team always leads our participants to excellence.

Pray that God will begin speaking to those women in our city that will be the best matches for our participants-mature Christian women that will walk beside our ladies.

Pray that God will sustain our staff at CWJC and bless our ministry. Ask God to give us Christ's words and actions towards the women that come to us. We need to be full of Christ.

Pray that God will build a board for CWJC that is wise, passionate about the ministry, and hard working.

Safety
Pray that God will keep our participants, Journey Partners, board, staff, and teachers healthy and safe.

Mock Interviews
Each semester our participants complete a round of mock interviews with community professionals. They present their resumes and are interviewed for imaginary positions. The ladies are coached after the interview by the person who interviewed them. This valuable feedback is very helpful to our participants. If you know of someone who conducts interviews in their job that would like to be a part of this process, please let us know.

New Classes Begin August 28, 2023
If you are interested in being a part of our Fall 2021 class, call and leave a message beginning August 2. We will call you and set up a time for an interview. You must be at least 18 years old and be free of substance abuse for at least 6 months. If you don't have a high school diploma or GED, you will need to be willing to work on your GED while attending.
